I’ve got two new video interviews for you this week. First up we have the Finnish monster-rockers Lordi! A decade after their success at the Eurovision song contest, the band finally made their debut in Canada. I spoke to frontman Mr. Lordi about their mainstream past, and why they turned down a huge tour of North American and Europe with Gwar.

Mongolian folk metallers Tengger Cavalry have a new album out today called Die On My Ride, and they kick off a North American tour in Montreal tomorrow. Read my new interview with frontman Nature Ganganbaigal, and find out how he made the move from playing death metal, to injecting throat-singing and Mongolian instruments into his music.

Scottish pirate-metallers Alestorm have a new album out today entitled No Grave But The Sea. Have a listen to my new interview with frontman Christopher Bowes where we talk about the new album, how their music is now essential listening for young metal fans, and why they’re far more serious than people think.

I’ve posted a brand new video interview with my old chum vocalist Rody Walker of Protest The Hero. Head over the Interviews section and check out our conversation where we discuss their recent success and how it’s changed them as a band. They’re currently on tour in North America with August Burns Red, with one Canadian date left in Toronto on February 16th.
